Bedrock Robotics has raised $270 million in Series B funding co-led by CapitalG and the Valor Atreides AI Fund. The funding will support the expansion of its autonomous construction systems and connected fleet technology across major infrastructure and industrial projects.

Bedrock Robotics has raised $270 million in Series B funding co-led by CapitalG and Valor Atreides AI Fund, with participation from multiple investors including Xora, 8VC, Eclipse, NVentures, and Tishman Speyer, announced in a press release. The round brings Bedrock’s total funding to over $350 million.

The San Francisco-based company, founded by former Waymo engineers, develops autonomous systems for construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. The new capital will accelerate the deployment of its connected fleet technology and support scaling of its autonomous solutions across large construction sites.

Bedrock recently completed a large-scale supervised autonomy deployment for mass excavation on a 130-acre manufacturing site and plans its first fully operator-less excavator deployments with customers in 2026. The company also expanded its leadership team with new hires from Meta and Waymo to strengthen its AI safety and operations capabilities.

Contractors across multiple U.S. states are exploring Bedrock’s systems for projects in industrial, port, and data center construction, as the industry faces significant labor shortages and growing project backlogs.
