ShengShu Technology Raises Over RMB 600 Million in Series A+ Funding
ShengShu Technology has completed a Series A+ funding round exceeding RMB 600 million, announced in a press release. The round was co-led by Zhongguancun Science City and LINK-X CAPITAL, with strategic participation from Wondershare, Visual China Group, and TRS. Existing investors such as Qiming Venture Partners and the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund also increased their stakes.
ShengShu is known for developing multimodal generative algorithms and launched its Vidu product line globally in July 2024. The company’s latest model, Vidu Q3, supports 16-second synchronized audio-video generation, native 1080p output, and multilingual rendering. According to Artificial Analysis, Vidu Q3 ranks first in China and second globally among AI video generation models.
The company has built a full product ecosystem around Vidu, including MaaS, SaaS, mobile, and agent-based services. These tools are used by creators and enterprises in over 200 countries across industries such as film, advertising, gaming, and education. Clients include Tencent Animation, iQIYI, ByteDance, Samsung, and Alibaba.
ShengShu recently open-sourced its TurboDiffusion framework, enabling the generation of a five-second video in under two seconds on a single RTX 5090 GPU. The company reported more than tenfold growth in users and revenue in 2025 and plans to continue expanding its multimodal AI research and commercialization efforts globally.
