Sonilo Raises $11 Million for AI Audio Models

Oct 14, 2026
Sonilo raised $11 million to expand its video based music and sound generation platform, licensing program and distribution.

Sonilo announced in a press release an $11 million funding round led by B Capital, with participation from Redpoint. The company will use the funding for computing infrastructure, distribution across creator and developer platforms, and music licensing.

Sonilo's Sound World Model analyzes a video's timing, movement and emotional progression to generate synchronized music and sound effects. Users can provide footage, a text description or both. The platform also offers dubbing with lip synchronization for localizing videos across languages.

The company says its models train on licensed music datasets, with fees and revenue shares paid to rights holders and artists. Shutterstock is an early licensing partner, and Sonilo plans to release a consumer app in the fourth quarter of 2026.
