Kyndryl Opens Technology Hub in Liverpool, Creating 1,000 Jobs
Kyndryl has announced the establishment of a new technology hub in Liverpool, aiming to create up to 1,000 AI-related and software engineering jobs over the next three years, according to a press release. This initiative is part of Kyndryl's efforts to support digital transformation for UK and global customers.
The new hub will be led by Kyndryl Consult and will feature a Kyndryl Vital Studio, designed to offer a collaborative co-creation experience for tackling complex business challenges. The hub will also expand Kyndryl's partnership with The Very Group, enhancing the retailer's digital capabilities through a multiyear agreement.
Kyndryl's investment aligns with the UK government's AI Opportunities Action Plan, aiming to position the UK as a global leader in AI. The hub will leverage Kyndryl's infrastructure expertise to integrate mission-critical operations with business applications, fostering innovation and economic growth in the region.
