Dedicated AI companies raised £6.3 billion in 2025, more than twice the previous year's amount. Rounds worth at least £100 million represented about 60% of investment value. Access to equity was cited as a significant barrier by 61% of surveyed businesses, while 72% reported increased computing requirements and 91% of compute users expected costs to rise.
