Sep 2, 2026
Kindsight has made its Trip Planning Agent generally available and expanded Kindsight Intelligence across CRM and prospect research products. The company also released early research on nonprofit professionals' views of AI oversight in fundraising.

Kindsight announced the general availability of its Trip Planning Agent and an expansion of Kindsight Intelligence across its CRM and prospect research products, stated in a press release. The company unveiled the updates during its 2026 Innovation Keynote at KindCon.

Trip Planning Agent is designed to plan in person fundraising trips by identifying constituents near a travel destination, sequencing visits, and drafting outreach and meeting briefings. Kindsight also said KI for iWave Screening Agent is in beta, while KI for iWave Prospect Summary is in limited availability.

The company listed several upcoming tools, including Engagement Agent for donor outreach campaigns, KI Assistant for plain language questions about an organization's data, and KI for iWave Predictive Models for prospect scoring. Kindsight Intelligence and iWave are also now available within the AdvancementRM CRM.

Kindsight also released early findings from a study of more than 300 nonprofit professionals across 1,224 fundraising decisions. It said 98 percent of respondents would reject letting AI act without human oversight, while respondents preferred AI guidance for planning major gift trips 89 percent of the time and human expert guidance for restricted gift ambiguity 81 percent of the time.
