HTX Partners with Google Cloud to Enhance AI Capabilities

HTX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Google Cloud to advance its AI capabilities, focusing on AI security, cloud services, and AI governance.

Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Google Cloud to enhance its artificial intelligence capabilities. This collaboration aims to bolster HTX's efforts in AI security, cybersecurity research, and the implementation of cloud platform services, as announced in a media release on May 27, 2025.

The partnership will see HTX adopting Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Air-Gapped in 2025 to meet the stringent sovereignty and regulatory requirements of Home Team agencies. Additionally, both organizations will explore AI governance models and guardrails for public safety applications, focusing on explainable AI, robust AI, and AI safety.

HTX and Google Cloud will also work together on developing a GenAI Solution Accelerator for deployment in GDC Air-Gapped and deploying Google's AI models on Vertex AI for agentic AI, robotics, and embodied AI. This collaboration is expected to advance HTX's mission and operations by training and fine-tuning Google's industry-leading AI models.
