CaixaBank expands Google Cloud agreement through 2033
CaixaBank and Google Cloud expanded their technology agreement through 2033, the companies said in a press release. The agreement extends a collaboration established in 2023 and covers AI, data management, analytics, cloud infrastructure and security.
CaixaBank will deploy Gemini Enterprise to build, manage and deploy AI agents. The bank plans to use specialized agents for document management, classification, financial information analysis, content summaries and routine tasks.
The bank will also combine its private systems with Google Cloud infrastructure and add threat detection and security monitoring tools. The agreement includes professional services and training for employees, with deployments operating under CaixaBank's security, privacy and responsible AI policies.
