H3C and China Unicom deployed Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure that supported more than 2,000 robots at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing.

H3C said in an announcement that it worked with China Unicom to deploy Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure at the second World Humanoid Robot Games. The event took place from August 15 to 17 in Beijing and included 666 teams and 2,056 humanoid robots from 16 countries.

H3C installed its WA7638 wireless access points across the venues, providing bandwidth of up to 18.444 Gbps. Multi Link Operation supported simultaneous connections for more than 2,000 robots, while dual uplink redundancy and network isolation reduced interference between teams and competition areas.

The network management platform used AI for seamless roaming, diagnostics, and radio frequency optimization. It provided millisecond level handovers for moving robots, identified more than 50 types of connectivity issues, and adjusted channels, transmission power, and bandwidth.
