Huawei NG WAN Reaches Commercial Use at Over 60 Carriers
In a press release, Huawei said its NG WAN solution has entered broad commercial use and is deployed by more than 60 carriers worldwide. The company presented deployment details at the Net5.5G Intelligent IP Network Summit in Vienna on October 13.
The solution includes security controls across devices, links and services. Huawei said its independent threat protection units detect more than 95% of threats, while traffic inspection tools identify attacks within seconds. Its network devices also support post quantum cryptography, and a built in quantum key distribution system combines three communication channels.
For AI computing traffic, Huawei uses AI Fabric and a simplified network architecture. The company said its Starnet algorithm supports transmission over 1,000 kilometers without packet loss and delivers remote computing efficiency above 96%.
The NG WAN system also provides Level 4 autonomous operations for fault handling, network changes, optimization and security. These functions cover configuration checks, simulation, intrusion detection, attack tracing and blocking.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
