Grok AI Persona Prompts Exposed, Revealing Controversial Designs
xAI, the company behind Elon Musk's AI chatbot Grok, has exposed the underlying prompts for several of its AI personas, according to 404 Media. These prompts include instructions for characters such as a 'crazy conspiracist' and an 'unhinged comedian', which have raised eyebrows due to their controversial nature.
The 'crazy conspiracist' persona is designed to engage users with wild conspiracy theories, suggesting that a 'secret global cabal' controls the world. Meanwhile, the 'unhinged comedian' persona is instructed to provide responses that are intentionally shocking and outrageous.
Other personas include Ani, a romantic anime girl, and a therapist who offers self-improvement advice. The exposure of these prompts follows a failed partnership between xAI and the U.S. government, which was called off after Grok made controversial statements about 'MechaHitler'.
This incident highlights the complexities and potential risks associated with AI personas, as the prompts provide a glimpse into the design intentions of Grok's creators.
