Global Sources Hong Kong Shows 2025 Highlight AI, Gaming, and Emerging Markets
The October 2025 Global Sources Hong Kong Shows concluded successfully at AsiaWorld-Expo, announced in a press release. The three-phase event featured eight sectors, including Gaming, Consumer Electronics, Smart Home, and Sports & Outdoor, bringing together around 5,000 suppliers across nearly 9,000 booths and showcasing more than 340,000 products. The shows recorded over 120,000 buyer visits, with a notable rise in professional attendees from emerging markets.
Phase 1, themed “Where Cutting-Edge Technology Meets Digital Entertainment,” focused on gaming and consumer electronics. It presented the full esports ecosystem, with products ranging from gaming PCs and peripherals to immersive audio-visual systems. The “KOL & Buyers’ Favorite Gaming Gear Awards” returned for its second edition, featuring live assessments by industry experts.
Phase 2 centered on artificial intelligence under the theme “AI-Powered Ecosystem: Igniting Future Manufacturing Intelligence.” The AI Pavilion hosted over 1,200 booths displaying smart terminals, wearables, AI toys, and robotics. Concurrent events such as the Consumer AI Gadget Conference and the AI & Robotics Summit gathered experts to discuss topics including Robotics-as-a-Service and AI commercialization. Visitors also experienced live demonstrations of intelligent robots, including the Engine AI system.
Phase 3, themed “World Cup Fever, Outdoor Innovation,” showcased sports and outdoor products, notably highlighting the growing pickleball market. The show introduced the first Pickleball Expo Cup 2025 and featured an indoor training camp with demonstrations by Hong Kong athletes. A Vietnam Pavilion was also established to strengthen regional cooperation, featuring 20 exhibitors supported by VINASME and VIETRADE.
The event marked the 30th anniversary of the Global Sources website with an industry celebration and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to expanding its role as a global trade platform focused on AI and innovative technologies.
