Gcore and AzInTelecom Partner for Sovereign Cloud Services in Azerbaijan
Gcore and AzInTelecom LLC have announced a strategic partnership to deliver sovereign cloud services in Azerbaijan, as stated in a press release. This collaboration marks Gcore's first regional effort to establish a low-latency cloud infrastructure that complies with Azerbaijan's data regulations.
The partnership aims to accelerate digital transformation projects for businesses and government institutions in Azerbaijan. The AzInCloud platform, part of this initiative, offers a range of cloud services, including easy management, a cloud marketplace, and real-time monitoring. It operates on a pay-as-you-use model, accessible to various users, from legal entities to individual entrepreneurs.
Andre Reitenbach, CEO of Gcore, emphasized the importance of digital sovereignty, stating that the partnership provides Azerbaijan with secure and independent control over its digital infrastructure. Farrukh Farajullayev, Chief Commercial Officer at AzInTelecom, highlighted the goal of making modern cloud services accessible to all, promoting digital transformation in the business environment.
