Sitecore and Dataweavers expand sovereign hosting to new markets

Arc now offers sovereign cloud hosting for SitecoreAI in China, the Middle East and Canada. The service runs in each customer's Azure tenant to support local data residency requirements.

Sitecore and Dataweavers announced in a press release that Arc now offers sovereign cloud hosting for SitecoreAI in China, the Middle East and Canada. The expansion gives customers an in country hosting option for meeting local data residency requirements.

Arc runs inside a customer's Azure tenant on infrastructure located in the relevant region. It includes self service Next.js hosting, governance and security under one Arc service level agreement.

In markets with stricter requirements, including China, Arc can host front end computing, data and delivery services within the country, subject to local rules. The availability of SitecoreAI features that depend on third party services may differ by market.
