Fujitsu Develops Multi-AI Agent Collaboration Technology for Supply Chains

Fujitsu has developed a multi-AI agent collaboration technology to support secure cooperation among AI systems across different companies and vendors within supply chains, announced in a press release. The company plans to start field trials in January 2026 with Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and the Institute of Science Tokyo to optimize Rohto's supply chain operations.

The new technology is designed to enable faster responses to changing conditions, such as sudden demand fluctuations or disruptions, by allowing AI agents from multiple organizations to share information securely and coordinate actions. Fujitsu aims to apply this system to improve both daily supply chain management and emergency recovery processes.

The trials will also contribute to activities by the Council on Competitiveness-Nippon to promote secure data and AI collaboration across industries. Fujitsu plans to expand the technology's use to other sectors, including manufacturing, and integrate it into its Uvance business model’s Dynamic Supply Chain services by the end of fiscal 2026.
