HP Partners with OpenAI to Deploy Frontier Across Global Operations
HP Inc has announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to integrate the Frontier platform across its global operations, according to a press release. The initiative aims to enhance customer experiences and streamline internal processes by deploying AI solutions throughout HP’s business units.
HP began testing Frontier in February 2026 to evaluate its technical capabilities and strategic fit. Following successful pilot programs, the company will now scale the platform to support areas including customer and partner interactions, telemetry insights, employee productivity, and software development. HP’s Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) will serve as a foundation for integrating AI capabilities across its devices and services.
The partnership positions HP as one of the first global enterprises to adopt Frontier at scale. The platform will act as a connective layer across HP’s systems, managing context, permissions, and governance for AI-driven workflows. Both companies plan to co-develop additional use cases that meet HP’s enterprise standards for data integration, security, and governance.
HP stated that the collaboration with OpenAI will support the company’s goal of embedding AI into everyday work, enabling more efficient operations and faster resolution times for customers and partners.
