Capacity and FoodBridge have partnered to launch the Hunger Relief and Social Equity Initiative, combining AI engagement and food access systems to streamline how people connect to food, benefits, and community support.

Capacity and FoodBridge have partnered to launch the Hunger Relief and Social Equity Initiative, announced in a press release. The initiative is designed to simplify how individuals connect to food, benefits, and community care services.

The collaboration combines conversational AI and food access tools to support food banks and community organizations. Capacity automates intake, eligibility checks, and benefits navigation through voice or text, while FoodBridge enables food selection, distribution, and transactions for programs like SNAP through a digital platform.

Capacity reports its platform has already supported 38 million health and social service interactions, facilitated 4 million food deliveries, and completed 743,000 social program qualifications. The new initiative aims to connect these services with modern e-commerce and benefits systems, improving both reach and operational efficiency for participating organizations.

The companies plan to expand the model nationwide, working with hunger relief organizations and community networks to create an integrated system that connects food access, healthcare, and social support.
