
Evogene Completes Sale of Lavie Bio to ICL
Evogene has completed the sale of its ag-biologicals subsidiary, Lavie Bio, to ICL, as announced in a press release. The transaction includes the transfer of Lavie Bio's proprietary Biology Driven Design technology platform, microbial bank, and advanced development programs.
In addition to these assets, Evogene has also transferred its MicroBoost AI for AG platform to ICL. This platform is designed to accelerate microbial product development in agriculture. The core personnel of Lavie Bio will also transition to ICL as part of the agreement.
Lavie Bio's existing strategic partnerships and commercial agreements remain under its ownership, potentially yielding future revenues for its shareholders. This transaction aligns with Evogene's strategy to unlock the value of its subsidiaries and technologies.
