Cerberus and Yondr Plan 72 MW Data Center in Virginia

Cerberus Capital Management and Yondr Group have acquired a 40 acre site in Manassas, Virginia, for a planned 72 MW data center campus expected to start operations in 2029.

Funds managed by Cerberus Capital Management and Yondr Group have acquired a 40 acre site in Manassas, Virginia, for a planned 72 MW data center campus, the companies said in a press release.

The campus is expected to begin operations in 2029. The companies said it will serve hyperscale customers and support cloud, enterprise, and artificial intelligence workloads.

The site is in Northern Virginia, a major data center market with hyperscale and cloud operators, fiber connectivity, and access to hubs in the Northeastern United States. Cerberus and Yondr said the project has power availability for the planned 2029 service date.
