Eficode Appoints Staffan Strand as CEO to Lead AI Transformation

Eficode has appointed Staffan Strand as its new CEO, effective May 19, to accelerate the company's AI transformation in software development. Strand joins from Nexer Group, where he served as President and Chairman.

Eficode has appointed Staffan Strand as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 19, announced in a press release. The company said Strand will focus on accelerating its mission to lead the AI transformation of the software development lifecycle.

Strand brings over 20 years of experience in IT consulting, managed services, and digital transformation. Before joining Eficode, he served as President and Chairman at Nexer Group, overseeing more than 1,000 consultants. He has also held senior leadership roles at CGI and Alten, managing large technology organizations across the Nordics.

Eficode Chairman Sebastian Inger said Strand was selected for his operational and strategic leadership experience. The company’s founder, Risto Virkkala, stated that Eficode’s two decades of expertise in automation and tooling position it to lead the shift of software development into the AI era.

Eficode operates across Europe and the United States, serving enterprise clients in regulated sectors such as financial services, defense, and technology manufacturing.
