Eclipse Space Uses Nullspace for AI Satellite Antenna Design

Nov 2, 2026
Eclipse Space is using Nullspace simulation software in an AI workflow that generates, tests and refines satellite antenna designs.

Nullspace said in a press release that Eclipse Space is using its electromagnetic simulation software to speed up satellite antenna design. The software serves as the simulation engine within an AI workflow managed by Eclipse Space engineers.

Software agents generate designs, prepare and run simulations, review results and select changes for subsequent tests. Eclipse Space can run multiple simulations in parallel, while its radio frequency engineers retain control over design decisions.

Nullspace directly solves electromagnetic equations to evaluate each design. Eclipse Space is also using a consumption based licensing model under which agents access a license for each simulation and release it when the work finishes. Nullspace plans to make this licensing model publicly available in early 2027.
