Echo Raises $35M Series A to Build Secure AI-Native OS for Cloud Apps
Echo has raised $35 million in Series A funding led by N47, with participation from Notable Capital, Hyperwise Ventures, and SentinelOne's S Ventures, announced in a press release. The new round brings Echo’s total funding to $50 million over ten months, following its $15 million seed round.
Echo builds an AI-native operating system designed to secure cloud applications by eliminating vulnerabilities in container base images. The company creates CVE-free container images from scratch, replacing standard Docker images such as Python, Node.js, and Go, which typically contain thousands of known vulnerabilities.
Echo’s AI agents autonomously generate and maintain these secure images, researching vulnerabilities, developing fixes, and applying patches as new CVEs emerge. This automation allows the 35-person team to manage over 600 secure images that would otherwise require hundreds of engineers using manual methods.
Founded by Eilon Elhadad and Eylam Milner, veterans of Israel’s Unit 8200, Echo is already securing workloads for enterprise customers including Varonis, EDB, and UiPath.
