DXC Partners With LOXO on Autonomous Logistics Deployments
DXC Technology and LOXO are partnering to deploy autonomous commercial vehicles for logistics operations, DXC said in a press release. The companies will combine LOXO's Level 4 autonomous driving software with DXC Engineering's systems integration, AI, data and enterprise delivery services.
The partnership will focus on driverless light commercial vehicles operating along defined routes between hubs, warehouses and distribution facilities. DXC will connect LOXO's Digital Driver technology with back end systems, data services, fleet orchestration and operational workflows.
LOXO's platform has approval for driverless logistics operations on public roads in Europe. The companies plan to create a repeatable deployment model for logistics providers, fleet operators and vehicle manufacturers across European markets and other regions.
