DocuSign to Open MCP Server to AI Agents on September 30

DocuSign will make its Model Context Protocol Server generally available worldwide on September 30, giving AI agents access to contract intelligence and agreement workflows.

DocuSign announced in a press release that its Model Context Protocol Server will become generally available worldwide on September 30, 2026. The server will let Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Slack, and other MCP clients access agreement intelligence and governed actions powered by Docusign Iris.

AI agents can analyze contract terms and complete agreement workflows using context from previous negotiations, accepted terms, clauses, company policies, Intelligent Agreement Management, and contract lifecycle management processes. Administrative controls at the account level, infrastructure across multiple regions, and support for multiple languages provide governance for these actions.

DocuSign also supports agreement tasks within Oracle, Slack, Perplexity, Salesforce, Agentforce, and Slackbot. Available functions include contract analysis, sending, tracking, renewal insights, and collaboration within those services.
