David Hardoon has been appointed as the Global Head of Artificial Intelligence at Standard Chartered. In his new role, Hardoon will oversee the integration of AI across the bank's global operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, risk management, and client-centric solutions.

Hardoon brings significant experience in data analytics and AI leadership to the position. He previously served as the first Chief Data Officer at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and held senior roles at UnionBank of the Philippines and Aboitiz Data Innovation. His responsibilities at Standard Chartered will include collaborating with internal teams and external partners, such as industry colleagues, regulators, and technology providers, to drive AI innovation and deployment.
