Corrata Unveils AI Governance and On-Device LLM for Mobile Security
Corrata has introduced new AI governance and data loss prevention capabilities for mobile devices, along with plans for an on-device large language model to enhance threat detection. The company shared the news in a press release at Infosec Europe in London.
Corrata's AI Governance feature allows organizations to define and enforce which AI tools and services can be used within the mobile workspace. It automatically blocks or flags unsanctioned services, such as consumer chatbots or embedded AI SDKs, to help close compliance gaps as frameworks like the EU AI Act take effect.
The company has also updated its data loss prevention tools to detect when sensitive data is sent to unauthorized external services. This helps security teams identify genuine data leaks rather than false positives.
Corrata is developing a custom on-device large language model designed to identify threats in encrypted traffic by analyzing behavioral and network patterns directly on the device. The AI Governance and enhanced DLP features are available now, while the on-device model is still in development.
