Claude Code Product Head Cat Wu Leaves Anthropic
Cat Wu, head of product for Claude Code at Anthropic, left the company on Friday, Business Insider reports. Anthropic confirmed the departure, while Wu disclosed it Tuesday on X without giving a reason.
Wu joined Anthropic in 2024 after testing an early Claude Code prototype. The company released the tool in research preview in February 2025, and Wu led its product work alongside creator Boris Cherny. She also oversaw Cowork, Anthropic's tool for tasks outside software development.
Her exit follows the departure of Claude Code engineers Thariq Shihipar and Anthony Morris in October. Anthropic is preparing for an initial public offering later this month.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
