Chronos Operations Joins U.S. Navy's RAITE 2025 AI Initiative
Chronos Operations, an Alaska Native Corporation-owned, 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business specializing in IT professional services, has been selected to participate in the U.S. Navy's RAITE 2025 initiative, announced in a press release. RAITE 2025, hosted by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, aims to test and evaluate AI models for national defense applications.
The initiative will focus on scenarios involving multimodal data, cyber-enabled AI networks, and unmanned systems collaboration. Chronos Operations will contribute to six scenario-based exercises, focusing on building a secure, open-source framework to evaluate large language models (LLMs) against cyber threats. Their team will support all Purple Team scenarios and Blue Team scenario 4, defending an LLM on an edge device against various attacks.
Chronos Operations' involvement in RAITE 2025 underscores its commitment to enhancing AI safety and operational readiness for the U.S. Navy. The company will leverage its expertise in edge AI to enable operations in limited communications and autonomous environments.
