Check Point Joins OpenAI's Trusted Access for Cyber and Daybreak Programs

Check Point Software Technologies has joined OpenAI’s Trusted Access for Cyber program and Daybreak initiative, gaining access to GPT-5.5 and expert cybersecurity support from OpenAI.

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. announced in a press release that it has joined OpenAI's Trusted Access for Cyber program and been accepted into Daybreak, OpenAI's cybersecurity initiative for vetted security organizations.

As a member of Trusted Access for Cyber, Check Point now uses GPT-5.5 with Trusted Access for Cyber in its defensive security operations. The company said this integration supports security teams in analyzing threats, investigating incidents, and building detections in real time.

Through the Daybreak initiative, Check Point gains access to OpenAI's Codex harness and direct support from OpenAI's cybersecurity team. This collaboration provides Check Point with operational assistance from the team developing the models that underpin its defensive workflows.

According to Jonathan Zanger, Chief Technology Officer at Check Point, these memberships represent foundational steps in integrating advanced AI capabilities into the company’s security platform to enhance accuracy and speed in enterprise protection.
