Cato Networks has initiated the FedRAMP High Authorization process for its SASE Platform in collaboration with Coalfire, aiming to expand its presence in the U.S. federal market and meet growing security requirements.

Cato Networks has announced in a press release the start of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization process for its SASE Platform, working with Coalfire. The company stated that this initiative aims to expand its footprint within the U.S. federal government and address rising demand for secure, scalable networking solutions.

FedRAMP High Authorization represents the highest compliance level under the federal program, requiring adherence to more than 400 security controls based on the NIST SP 800-53 High baseline. The process involves extensive documentation, third-party assessments, and continuous monitoring to meet stringent operational and technical standards.

Coalfire will advise Cato Networks through the FedRAMP High process, ensuring compliance with federal security requirements. Once authorized, the Cato SASE Platform would be eligible for deployment across U.S. federal agencies, supporting secure cloud adoption and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
