Broadridge Secures Patent for AI Orchestration in Trading
Broadridge Financial Solutions has been awarded a new U.S. patent for its large language model (LLM) orchestration of machine learning agents, as announced in a press release. This patent underpins Broadridge's BondGPT application, which was first introduced in the LTX e-trading platform, a subsidiary of Broadridge.
BondGPT, released in June 2023, and its enterprise version, BondGPT+, launched in October 2023, utilize OpenAI GPT models to provide secure and accurate responses to natural language queries. These applications orchestrate multiple AI agents to retrieve and process data from various datasets and analytical models simultaneously, enhancing trading capabilities for corporate bond traders, portfolio managers, and analysts.
The patented features include a "Show your work" feature for transparency, a multi-agent adversarial feature for accuracy, and an AI-powered compliance verification feature. These innovations aim to improve pre-trade and trade execution workflows by integrating clients' proprietary data and third-party datasets, offering personalized trading capabilities and improving efficiency.
