Bolt Graphics Unveils Zeus GPU for High-Performance Workloads

Bolt Graphics has announced Zeus, a new GPU designed for high-performance tasks such as rendering, HPC, and gaming, offering significant improvements in speed and efficiency.

Bolt Graphics has introduced Zeus, a groundbreaking GPU designed to tackle high-performance workloads like rendering, high-performance computing (HPC), and gaming, announced in a press release. Zeus promises substantial performance enhancements, boasting a 10x increase in rendering performance and a 6x boost in FP64 HPC workload performance compared to existing GPUs.

One of the standout features of Zeus is its expandable memory capacity, allowing users to increase memory up to 384 GB on a PCIe card and up to 2.25 TB per Zeus in a 2U server. This capability is particularly beneficial for users running demanding workloads that require large memory resources.

Zeus also integrates high-speed 400 GbE and 800 GbE Ethernet interfaces directly into the GPU, eliminating the need for additional network interface cards. This integration allows for direct, large-scale connections between Zeus GPUs without the downsides of high latency and power consumption.

In addition to Zeus, Bolt Graphics has announced Glowstick, a real-time path tracer that enables real-time path tracing at 4K 120 fps for various applications, including games and architectural design. Glowstick is included with Zeus at no additional cost, supporting industry standards for seamless integration across platforms.
