Eaton is collaborating with NVIDIA to accelerate the transition to high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power infrastructure in AI data centers, announced in a press release. This partnership aims to support high-density GPU deployments, such as NVIDIA Kyber rack-scale systems with NVIDIA Rubin Ultra GPUs.

Eaton's approach includes the development of design best practices, reference architectures, and innovative power management solutions. The collaboration focuses on transitioning to 800 V HVDC power infrastructure to support 1 megawatt racks and beyond. Eaton is also exploring opportunities to integrate its solutions into the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint for AI factory design and operations.

As part of the NVIDIA Partner Network, Eaton leverages its expertise in power management to design systems that meet the growing demands of AI workloads. This comprehensive strategy optimizes both white and gray space in AI data centers, ensuring continuous operations and energy efficiency.
