BharathCloud Opens First Sovereign Cloud Centre at CtrlS Hyderabad Facility

BharathCloud has launched its first AI-ready sovereign Cloud Centre at CtrlS Datacenters' Hyderabad DC1 facility, supported by JLL as the exclusive advisor. The move marks the beginning of BharathCloud's $100 million plan to expand cloud infrastructure across India.

In a press release, BharathCloud announced the launch of its first AI ready sovereign Cloud Centre at the Hyderabad DC1 facility of CtrlS Datacenters. The Cloud Centre was inaugurated by Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder and CEO of CtrlS Datacenters, marking a step in strengthening India’s sovereign and AI ready digital infrastructure. JLL acted as the exclusive advisor for the transaction.

The Hyderabad facility, part of the CtrlS Rated 4 datacenter ecosystem, will support secure and scalable infrastructure for enterprises and government organizations. The collaboration combines BharathCloud’s cloud services with CtrlS’s infrastructure and JLL’s advisory expertise.

BharathCloud’s new Cloud Centre is the first step in a broader $100 million investment plan to develop sovereign AI ready cloud infrastructure across India over the next five years. The expansion will cover major metro areas including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, and Pune, with future projects planned for Tier II and Tier III cities.
