Trident Solutions and SciTec Partner on Edge Mission Data Processing
Trident Solutions and SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace company, announced in a press release a strategic partnership to combine SciTec software and data fusion capabilities with Trident edge mission data processing hardware. The companies said the offering is aimed at System Prime Contractors and U.S. Government customers working on national security space missions.
The partnership includes a jointly developed Edge Mission Data Processing testbed. It combines Trident space qualified edge processors with SciTec AI enabled mission software for threat detection, sensor fusion, and analytics at the edge.
The companies said the system is intended to support missile warning, space domain awareness, and other time critical missions where processing must occur near sensors in contested or bandwidth limited environments.
