BDC launches Mission AI and Studio AI for Canadian businesses
Business Development Bank of Canada launched Mission AI and Studio AI to support AI adoption among Canadian small and midsized businesses, according to the Financial Post. Mission AI will initially work with 250 entrepreneurs and plans to reach 10,000 businesses in its first year.
Mission AI will let business owners test Canadian AI products and provide feedback. The program will track measures such as time saved and continued product use. Managing director Dominic Gagnon estimates that BDC will have about 1,000 products available to test within three months.
Studio AI, led by technology entrepreneur Raff Paquin, will examine how BDC can simplify its internal processes. It will focus on making financing and support clearer for entrepreneurs and reducing the time required to receive funding.
