Atera Appoints Avi Israel as New CFO Amidst Global Expansion

Atera, a leader in Agentic AI for IT management, has appointed Avi Israel as its new CFO, succeeding Lior Torem.

Atera, a prominent provider of Agentic AI for IT management, has announced the appointment of Avi Israel as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Avi Israel brings over 15 years of experience in finance, having previously played a key role in the IPO processes of technology companies such as Ermetic and Similarweb. His expertise is expected to support Atera's ongoing global expansion and innovation in AI-powered IT management.

Avi Israel succeeds Lior Torem, who has led Atera's finance department for the past four years. Lior Torem will transition to Atera's Advisory Board, continuing to contribute to the company's strategic direction. Under his leadership, Atera strengthened its financial foundations, positioning itself as a leader in the IT management sector.

Atera's CEO and Co-founder, Gil Pekelman, expressed enthusiasm about Avi Israel's appointment, highlighting his ability to lead complex financial processes. Pekelman also acknowledged Lior Torem's significant contributions to the company's success and welcomed his continued involvement as an advisor.

Atera's platform integrates remote monitoring and management (RMM), helpdesk, ticketing, and automation, serving over 12,000 customers in more than 120 countries. The company has raised $102 million from investors including K1 Capital and General Atlantic.
