ASUS to Ship AI POD with NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 in March
ASUS has announced that its AI POD, equipped with the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform, is ready to ramp up production for a scheduled shipment in March 2025, as stated in a press release. The AI POD is designed to deliver high-performance AI computing by integrating GPUs, CPUs, and NVIDIA NVLink Switches, offering a 30X boost in real-time inference performance.
The ASUS AI POD utilizes the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip and fifth-generation NVIDIA NVLink interconnect technology, making it suitable for tasks such as training trillion-parameter language models and performing real-time AI inference. ASUS has also incorporated advanced cooling solutions to enhance energy efficiency and heat dissipation.
ASUS is launching a proof of concept (POC) for the AI POD, inviting a select group of innovators to experience its capabilities. This initiative aims to accelerate AI adoption across industries by providing comprehensive end-to-end solutions and software services.
