Arena has introduced an Academic Partnerships Program to fund research on AI evaluation and reliability, offering grants of up to $50,000 per project with the first submission deadline set for March 31, 2026.

Arena has launched an Academic Partnerships Program to advance research in AI evaluation, rankings, and measurement, announced in a press release. The initiative aims to strengthen the scientific foundations of AI reliability and performance assessment.

The program will provide up to $50,000 per project to support studies on topics such as evaluation methodology, measurement validity, human preference learning, and AI safety. Selected projects may also receive access to Arena datasets under defined conditions and data protection standards.

Proposals will be reviewed quarterly, with the first submission deadline on March 31, 2026. More details, including eligibility and application information, are available on Arena’s website.
