Anysphere, the company behind the AI coding assistant Cursor, has raised $900 million, achieving a valuation of $9.9 billion, according to Bloomberg. The funding round was led by returning investor Thrive Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, and DST Global.

This marks Anysphere's third fundraising effort in less than a year. The startup, which is only three years old, previously raised $100 million at a pre-money valuation of $2.5 billion late last year. The company's annualized revenue has been doubling approximately every two months, surpassing $500 million in ARR, as reported by Bloomberg.

Cursor, Anysphere's AI coding assistant, offers tiered pricing plans, converting users from a free trial to paid subscriptions. The company has recently expanded its offerings to include enterprise licenses, allowing companies to purchase the application for their teams at a higher price point.
