Captur has raised $6 million in seed funding led by Rally Ventures with participation from SVV (Sure Valley Ventures) to expand its on-device AI technology that verifies user-submitted photos in real time without internet connectivity.

AI infrastructure startup Captur has raised $6 million in a seed round led by Rally Ventures, with participation from existing investor SVV (Sure Valley Ventures), announced in a press release.

Captur’s technology verifies the quality and accuracy of user-submitted images directly on smartphones, processing photos in around 30 milliseconds without requiring an internet connection. The system runs computer vision models on over 6,000 device types, offering real-time feedback before a photo is taken. This approach eliminates the need for cloud processing or manual review, reducing costs and latency.

The company’s solution is already in use across logistics, mobility, and e-commerce platforms, processing tens of millions of images monthly. Clients have reported reduced error rates and faster verification times after integrating Captur’s SDK. The new funding will be used to expand the team and extend the platform’s edge AI capabilities to additional industries such as logistics, micro-mobility, and retail.
