Anthropic revenue run rate tops $80 billion as IPO faces doubts

Nov 6, 2026
Anthropic's annualized revenue run rate exceeded $80 billion at the end of October, beating projections in the $70 billion range. Investors are questioning whether its planned IPO can support a $1.5 trillion valuation.

Anthropic's annualized revenue run rate rose to more than $80 billion at the end of October, up from the previous month, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. The figure beat projections in the $70 billion range, HuggingNews notes, and follows the September 22 launch of Opus 5.5.

Estimates put Anthropic's run rate at about $65 billion in late July, according to Crypto Briefing. Its public S-1 filing showed first-half 2026 revenue of $16.3 billion, up from $1.16 billion a year earlier. Alternative-data firm TickerTrends separately tracked the run rate at $82.33 billion as of October 30.

The figure comes as investors weigh Anthropic's planned listing. Valuation expectations have reportedly been trimmed to around $1.5 trillion from early talk of $2 trillion, still above its $965 billion private valuation in May, Crypto Briefing reports. Anthropic has not confirmed the October run-rate figure.

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
