Anthropic adds usage reports and pooled budgets to Claude Enterprise

Oct 28, 2026
Claude Enterprise now includes smart reports, surveys inside Claude and pooled group budgets for tracking usage, collecting feedback and managing spending.

Anthropic made new reporting and budget tools generally available for Claude Enterprise, the company said in an announcement. The tools are smart reports, surveys inside Claude and pooled group budgets.

Smart reports analyze a sample of a team's transcripts and organize its activity into workstreams. They show spending, deliverables and common problems, such as missing connectors or failed tool calls. The reports can recommend recurring workflows to convert into skills and rules to add to code repositories. Anthropic says the reports are not intended for evaluating individual performance or making employment decisions.

Admins can use surveys inside Claude to ask members about valuable uses, time savings and work that would slow down without access. They can customize the questions, select recipients and export responses to a spreadsheet.

Pooled group budgets give each team a shared monthly allowance while retaining individual member limits. Requests count against both limits, and members can ask admins for more capacity inside Claude. Admins with billing permissions receive alerts when spending reaches 50%, 75%, 95% and 100% of the group budget. Availability varies for organizations with HIPAA configurations or customer managed encryption keys.

The launch is aimed at showing customers the return on their token spend, TechCrunch notes, a major concern for large enterprise buyers.
