Ampace Presents PU200 UPS Battery for AI Data Centers at Datacloud Global Congress 2026
In a press release, Ampace announced its participation at Datacloud Global Congress 2026 in Cannes, where it is showcasing the PU200 lithium-ion UPS battery designed for the power requirements of AI data centers. The company said the system is built on its proprietary semi-solid-state cell architecture, reducing thermal runaway gas generation by 58 percent compared with conventional lithium-ion batteries.
The PU200 is engineered to support the high-density and fast-changing workloads typical of AI operations, maintaining reliability and safety while offering deployment flexibility. It forms part of Ampace's broader PU Series, which supports both multi-hour energy storage and short-duration backup functions.
Ampace stated that its technology is aimed at helping data centers manage increasingly dynamic AI workloads and improve operational efficiency. The company will also take part in a panel discussion on June 3 addressing AC versus DC power for future high-density computing environments.
