Americase to address data center battery compliance at OCP Summit
Americase International will join a panel on data center battery compliance at the OCP Global Summit on Oct. 15, the company said in a press release. The session will cover differences among national and local rules for transporting, installing, operating, storing and disposing of energy storage systems.
The panel will draw on a January 2026 white paper from the Open Compute Project Foundation. The paper compiles codes and standards for energy storage systems used in hyperscale and AI data centers, including requirements across more than 15 countries.
Panelists will examine conflicts between U.S. and international rules, including the application of NFPA 855 outside the United States. They will also discuss whether battery chemistries such as nickel zinc and lithium ion require different treatment under current codes. The 25 minute session will take place at the San Jose Convention Center from 8:40 to 9:05 a.m. PDT.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
