Vision Group debuted LiLic Sidecar, an 800 V direct current backup power system for AI data centers, at YOTTA 2026 in Las Vegas.

Vision Group announced in a press release that it debuted LiLic Sidecar at YOTTA 2026 in Las Vegas. The backup power system connects to an 800 V direct current busbar and supports the OCP ORV4 open rack standard.

LiLic Sidecar combines lithium ion capacitors for rapid power changes with lithium iron phosphate batteries for backup. A cabinet with five operating modules provides 1 MW of rated discharge power and at least 60 seconds of backup at a 1 MW load.

The system integrates battery management and DC to DC power conversion, with hot swappable modules for maintenance. It uses immersion cooling and cold plate cooling to manage cell temperatures. Vision Group also displayed a 72 kW battery backup unit and battery energy storage systems ranging from a 215 kWh cabinet to 6.48 MWh containers.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
