Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the launch of its Bedrock generative AI service in the AWS Europe (Zurich) Region, allowing customers in Switzerland to build and scale AI applications. This expansion enables organizations such as Swisscom, Swiss Post, Clariant, and Copebit to leverage the capabilities of Amazon Bedrock.

Rahul Pathak, vice president of generative AI & AI/ML at AWS, highlighted the significance of this launch, noting that Amazon Bedrock is one of the fastest-growing AWS technologies of the last decade. The service provides customers with the tools needed to develop generative AI applications efficiently.
