Copec WIND Ventures has released its fifth annual Growth Markets Survey, revealing that artificial intelligence (AI) and energy storage are the top investment priorities in Latin America. The survey, which gathered insights from venture capitalists (VCs), indicates a rebound in interest for China as a growth market, with Latin America closely following. VCs have become more optimistic about the political climate in Latin America, viewing it as a promising region for startup expansion.

Energy storage, particularly for intermittent renewables, is identified as a significant application for generative AI, expected to drive further investment in the energy sector.
