Blaize Secures $120M Contract for Hybrid AI Infrastructure in Asia
Blaize has secured a $120 million contract to deploy its hybrid AI platform across Asia in collaboration with Starshine Computing Power Technology Limited. The initiative will begin in fiscal Q3 2025 and continue through 2026, focusing initially on smart city applications.
The collaboration aims to implement scalable hybrid AI systems to support smart cities, industrial automation, and intelligent public services across key countries such as India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and China. The deployment will leverage Blaize's GSP®-based AI platform, designed to enhance energy efficiency and real-time decision-making at the edge.
The agreement highlights the growing demand for localized AI infrastructure in Asia's rapidly developing economies, with Blaize and Starshine planning to expand their software development efforts to penetrate additional industries. This rollout is expected to reduce energy consumption and lower the total cost of ownership while processing multimodal data streams efficiently.
