ai& to Deploy Up to 100 Rebellions RebelRack Units in Tokyo

Rebellions and ai& announced in a press release that ai& will deploy RebelRack AI inference systems at its Tokyo data center. The companies plan to scale the installation to as many as 100 units.

The systems will become part of ai&'s inference service in Japan, giving enterprises, government institutions, and developers access to computing infrastructure located in the country. Rebellions hardware supports open source software frameworks already used by ai& engineers, and the companies expect the first systems to become operational on the day they arrive.

The deployment will support ai&'s wider data center expansion. The company has more than $2 billion in committed infrastructure capital, plans to operate five sites by the end of 2026, and targets 40 MW of capacity by the end of 2027.
